Money Making Online Tools

I’ve been looking into ways to make money through my website. Here’s a list of a dozen tools or approaches I’ve come up with:

  1. Google AdSense ads (both graphic and text-only)
  2. Other programs similar to Google AdSense
  3. Donations (I already have this, via PayPal. The button’s on the right. Please donate!)
  4. Affiliate programs like Amazon or ClickBank
  5. Site sponsors (advertising you arrange yourself)
  6. CafePress (I’m not sure what to category to put this in)
  7. Product downloads (eBooks, software, templates, etc.)
  8. Product catalogs (i.e. osCommerce and similar ways to sell tangible goods online)
  9. eBay auction links
  10. Auctions on your own website (either manual or automated)
  11. MLM programs
  12. Membership subscriptions

I know there are more, but I wanted to capture and share this list while I was thinking of it.

What am I missing?

    This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

    hello it is my first post on this blog and to start with I would like to thank for the useful information, which I were able to find in this and all previous topics , it really helped me a lot. I will definitely add this blog on my google reader ;) Also, I would like to ask – don’t you mind if I will quate some information from your website since I am writing articles for the Bukisa, Ezine and other articles directories (this is my part time job)? It would really help me with some of mine articles. Of course, I will mention your blog name or URL (not all articles directories allows URL’s , so I can’t 100% promise that you will get a direct link to your website).
